Is this a silly question? Or a serious one with a silly/serious answer?

We are ... hmmm...who we are! do you seriously think we can discern what made us who we are? The BILLIONS of interactions that we have experienced throughout our lives/loves contribute (but are NOT the sum total) of who we are..

Add to that the genetic makeup of each of us and the combinations are staggering! (REALLY BIG!!!!!)

It's like asking someone to decribe a tree..

I MIGHT be able to give some specific events that I THINK molded me.. but how do I know how much effect these events had on my life???

Unfortunately, Anita, there are NO pat answers.. we are who we are..ain't it grand??
